Bi-Annual National Skillnets Conference 2008
We were very excited to have been invited to attend the bi-annual National Skillsnet Conference at Croke Park on 7th May.
The theme, Real People, Real Skills, Real Business was brought to life with a myriad stories highlighting the success of the Skillnet program in different sectors.
Much was made, by all the speakers, of the current economic climate and how, now more than ever, it was necessary to train in order to effectively compete. Or as the keynote speaker, Anne Hearty of CPL Resources made clear, training is not optional, it is necessary. If you want to know more about the conference, the speakers or Skillnets in general, please visit the skillnet site.
